VACANCY FOR FACULTY POSITIONS
ISM, Ranchi is a leading centre of higher education in eastern India. The Institute is expanding its activities in several new knowledge domains. The Institute requires Faculty Members for the following departments:
1. Business Management (BM)
2. Hotel Management & Catering Technology (HMCT)
3. Food Technology (FT)
Qualifications and Experience
For BM: An MBA or equivalent degree in Finance/Marketing/HRM/IT preferably from IIM/XLRI/XIM or other reputed institutes with specialization in the relevant areas, and minimum 2 years experience. Ph.D. holders are preferred. Candidates pursuing Ph.D in management can also apply.
For HMCT: Degree/3-year Diploma in Hotel Management from an Institute affiliated to NCHM/SBTE/any recognized University with minimum 2 years hotel industry/teaching experience.
For FT: Degree/3-year Diploma in Food Science/Technology/Food Biology/Food & Nutrition/Food Processing or related discipline with specialization in Food Technology or Food Process Engineering, and minimum 2 years experience in hotel industry/teaching.
The right candidates should have strong communication skills with good knowledge of MS Office & Internet, over and above the stated basic qualifications.
Remuneration
ISM, Pundag offers attractive compensation package. Faculty members will be placed on suitable scales commensurate to their qualifications and experience. Salary is not a constraint for deserving candidates.
