VACANCY FOR FACULTY POSITIONS
 
ISM, Ranchi is a leading centre of higher technical education in eastern India. The Institute is expanding its activities in several new knowledge domains. The Institute requires a) Assistant Professors, b) Associate Professors and c) Professors in Marketing, HRM, Finance and allied disciplines.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to make relevant intellectual contribution to PGDM students through teaching, training research and published work. Candidates should have a strong academic background and understanding of current developments in the related field. Faculty members are expected to carry out research, design and teach courses, engage in institution development and conduct training program and consultancy. The right candidates should have strong communication skills with good knowledge of MS Office & Internet, over and above the under-mentioned basic qualifications.

Professor: Minimum ten years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least four years should be in teaching postgraduate students at the level of Associate Professor in any recognized University, AICTE approved management institute or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign institution/institutions of comparable standards.

Associate Professor: Minimum six years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least three years should be in teaching post graduate students at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.

Mandatory Qualification (for both the faculty positions): Ph.D in appropriate branch with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) at the preceding degree, with a very good academic record throughout.

Assistant Professor: First Class or equivalent in Masters Degree in  PGDM/MBA or a post graduate qualification in the relevant discipline and minimum two years of teaching/research/industrial experience.
